The Converta is a bizarre new concept in joysticks, featuring a switching system in the handle that apparently cuts down on wear and tear and means the base can be smaller. This in turn means that the Converta can... errm ... convert, from a hand-held stick into a tabletop device. Now, the reason I’m telling you all this is that the guys who make the Converta are giving away 50 of the sticks to celebrate its arrival on the Amiga scene. They’re also offering a brand new Star LC24-200 colour printer, which is a corking prize. The big prize winner will get the printer and two joysticks, while a second prize winner will receive £100 worth of Amiga software and two sticks. And the 23 lucky runners-up will win a pair of sticks so they can compete with a friend on those tricky two-player games.
