Escom and VIScorp released a statement that a letter of intent had been signed. Immediately after the announcement, fear once again raged through the Amiga community as on-line messages both for and against the proposed sale dashed through electronic BBSs and through Internet connections throughout the world. Most of this reaction was generated by the absence of any additional information. [ had hoped to interview the CEO of V!Scorp, unfortunately Mr. William Buck would be tied up in Germany until the end of May completing the negotiations with Escorn. While V!Scorp's executive staff were very friendly, they could not say more. David Rosen, VIScorp's Vice President of Business Development, offered a little insight into this in a letter to the Amiga public on April 19th.
