By now I’m sure most of you will have heard about the demise of the A500Plus.Commodore have finally stopped production of the machine, less than eight months after its launch, to concentrate their marketing efforts on the new A600 (reviewed last issue). It’s a surprising meve, really, especially with the A570 wailing In the wings. In case you’re not aware, the A570 CO Rom drive is only compatible with the A500, so Commodore have effectively killed off the only machine which can work with the new CO add-on. An A600 compatible drive is ii development, but won't be with us before Christmas at the earliest. Work that one out if yoe can!
